Frequently asked questions

Booking & Pricing

How much does a corporate painting workshop cost in Amsterdam? Pricing starts from €33–45 per person (excl. VAT, excl. drinks), and scales down as your group size grows — a group of 50 pays less per person than a group of 10. Every quote includes materials, an instructor, full setup and cleanup, and photo/video coverage. Send us your group size and we'll get you an exact number, usually within 1-2 business days.

How far in advance do we need to book? We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks ahead, especially for groups over 20 people or events between September and December, which is our busiest period. That said, if you're planning something last-minute, reach out anyway — we'll always tell you honestly whether we can make it work.

Do you offer discounts for larger groups? Yes. Our per-person rate decreases as your group size increases, so a 40+ person offsite costs noticeably less per head than a smaller team session. This reflects how we're able to plan materials and staffing more efficiently at scale.

Is VAT included in your pricing? No — all quoted prices are excl. VAT, in line with standard Dutch B2B pricing. Your final quote will clearly show both the excl.- and incl.-VAT totals.

Do your prices include drinks? Not by default — our pricing covers the workshop itself: materials, instructor, setup/cleanup, and photo/video coverage. If you'd like to add a drinks package, let us know and we'll arrange it or work around whatever your venue already has in place.

What do we get after the session? A full set of photos and a highlight aftermovie, delivered as a shareable folder within a few days — ready to post internally, on Slack, or on LinkedIn.

Can we get a formal invoice for our finance team? Yes — every booking comes with a proper invoice, itemized and ready for your internal approval process.

Everything companies typically ask before booking one of our team building activities Amsterdam teams have come to rely on — pricing, logistics, and what to expect on the day.

Workshop Content & Format

Can the painting be customized to our brand or event theme? Yes — we regularly design custom pieces tied to a company's branding, colors, product, or event theme. Alternatively, you can choose from our existing catalogue of designs if you'd rather skip the customization step.

What's the difference between Guided and Freestyle? Guided means everyone follows the same design with step-by-step instruction — ideal for a cohesive group experience. Freestyle means participants create their own individual interpretation with support available as needed — ideal for teams who want more creative range.

Do we need any art experience? None at all. Every session, regardless of format, is designed for complete beginners. Our instructor guides the group the entire way through.

What happens to the paintings afterward? Everyone takes their own painting home (or keeps it at the office) — for Borrelplank or collaborative formats, the finished piece typically stays with the team as a shared keepsake.

Do you travel outside Amsterdam? Yes — we regularly host workshops in Haarlem and Den Haag, and can discuss other locations across the Netherlands depending on your event.

Can you host the workshop at our office, or do we need a venue? Either works. We're fully mobile and bring everything needed to run a session at your office. If you don't have a suitable space, we're happy to suggest venues we've worked with before.

What are some creative activities for a company offsite in the Netherlands, beyond a standard workshop? Alongside our Signature Sip & Paint session, we offer Cake Painting, Dutch Tile Painting, and collaborative Borrelplank Painting — all of which work well as either the main activity or an add-on to a longer offsite day.
